Dude, where’s my website?
Well, I’ve made the jump to another web host. I’m tired of hosting my own site, and paying for static IP addresses on my DSL connection. In fact, the DSL connection is also on the way out the door, but that’s another story entirely.
In any case, my new web host has plenty of space and bandwidth for a great price, so I’m probably here for the long haul. Moving to a hosting provider also gives me the chance to ditch the aging Dell box that currently hosts wittevrongel.ca, so I don’t have to move it to (and find a place for it in) my new condo.
My old site may reappear at some point, probably at a URL like http://jeremiah.wittevrongel.ca/oldsite, but for now, I’m concentrating on getting the new site up, and I’m not at all worried about the old site.
As should be apparent, some of my previous content has already made the move, like my Killer Bunnies and Icehouse stuff. The rest, well, maybe someday.
Call it early spring cleaning if you will.
