I’m an Uncle

I got a phone call from my brother-in-law this morning while hiking in Washington State.  I’m now officially an uncle to a baby girl named Claire.  As my dad wryly told me, Claire weighed in at “four pounds and thirty-one ounces.”

Congratulations to Brad and Erin.  I’ve got a few weeks to figure out how to start spoiling Claire before I get back to Canada to see her for the first time.
